The 50-Year Foundation:
Three Generations of Concrete Craftsmanship
When you choose a contractor for a foundation, a driveway, or a custom entrance, you aren’t just buying concrete. You’re buying the legacy and experience of the team behind the pour. At Sons Concrete, our commitment to quality spans over five decades of hands-on, structural work.
A Legacy Forged In Craft
Our story begins in the late 1950s when Jose Tomaz immigrated to Canada from Faial, Azores, bringing with him a work ethic and attention to detail that became the hallmark of our family’s trade. In the 1970s, Manny Tomaz picked up the tools, spending nearly 40 years building foundations and sidewalks for major developers like Mattamy Homes, Empire Homes, and Reids Heritage Homes across the Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and Cambridge regions.
Today, Gage and Nathan are continuing that legacy. We have brought that decades-old expertise to the Grey and Bruce counties, combining the “old-school” lessons Manny learned from his father with the modern technical precision—such as laser leveling and advanced rebar reinforcement—that today’s Ontario climate demands.
