Project:
Durable Concrete Sidewalk Installation – Saugeen Shores
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
For this project on Barnes Avenue in Saugeen Shores, we focused on building a durable, safe walkway that integrates seamlessly with the existing landscape. We used heavy rebar reinforcement to provide the structure with the strength needed to resist cracking and settling over time.
To manage the natural movement of the concrete sidewalk, we installed hand-tooled control joints. This technique creates a clean, precise line that guides where the concrete will crack, keeping the slab looking professional for years to come. We finished the surface with a consistent broom finish, which provides excellent grip and traction for daily use. Completed in June 2022, this sidewalk is a reliable, high-quality addition to the property that is built to last.
