Suspended Porch Slab and Custom Stairway – Allenford
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We completed this custom entrance for a new construction project in Allenford in September 2023. This build featured a suspended porch slab, which allows for an open-air design beneath the entrance while maintaining heavy-duty structural integrity. Because the slab is ‘suspended,’ we utilized advanced forming techniques and heavy-gauge reinforcement to ensure the structure remains perfectly rigid and level.
To complete the entrance, we custom-formed the stairway to match the home’s design, ensuring both safety and structural durability. We focused on precise edges and a clean finish to complement the new construction. We know that the front entrance is the first thing people notice, so we prioritized both the hidden structural reinforcement and the final aesthetic finish to ensure this entrance is solid enough to stand on for years to come.
